Precision. Protection. Performance.

Thank you for choosing LWT Studios.

Whether you've entrusted us with your daily driver, family vehicle, cherished classic or high-performance car, our commitment remains the same—to deliver exceptional workmanship with precision, care and attention to detail.

We understand that every vehicle has its own story. For some, it's simply reliable transport. For others, it's a lifelong passion or one of their biggest investments. Whatever your reason for visiting us, every vehicle entering our studio is treated with the same respect, professionalism and craftsmanship we would expect for our own.

These Terms & Conditions have been written to explain what you can expect from us throughout your project, together with the responsibilities we each share to achieve the highest possible standard of workmanship.

Rather than filling these pages with unnecessary legal language, we've written them in plain English wherever possible. Our aim is to be transparent, fair and professional from your first enquiry through to the completion of your vehicle.

By accepting a quotation, paying a deposit or instructing LWT Studios to proceed with any work, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

1. The LWT Studios Standard

At LWT Studios, we believe exceptional craftsmanship begins long before the first panel is prepared or the first piece of film is installed.

It starts with understanding your vehicle, recommending the right solution and taking pride in every detail.

We don't believe in unnecessary upselling, shortcuts or compromising quality for speed. Every recommendation we make is based on what we genuinely believe is the right solution for your vehicle and the results you're hoping to achieve.

Our commitment is simple.

To treat every vehicle with the same level of care, precision and attention to detail that we would expect for our own.

That means:

  • Recommending products based on suitability, not commission.

  • Using premium materials from trusted manufacturers.

  • Delivering precise workmanship to professional standards.

  • Respecting every vehicle throughout the installation process.

  • Communicating openly and honestly.

  • Standing behind the quality of our work.

Whether we're tinting two front windows or carrying out a complete paint protection film installation, our standards remain exactly the same.

3. Quotations & Recommendations

Every quotation prepared by LWT Studios is based upon the information available at the time it is produced.

This may include:

  • Vehicle registration.

  • Vehicle make and model.

  • Customer photographs.

  • Customer requirements.

  • Vehicle specifications.

  • Physical inspection.

  • Previous modifications.

Our recommendations are made using professional judgement together with the information available at the time.

Should additional information become available following inspection of the vehicle, we reserve the right to revise our recommendations or quotation before work begins.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Quotations remain valid for 30 calendar days.

  • Prices apply only to the services listed.

  • Additional works may require a revised quotation.

  • Product availability remains subject to supplier stock.

  • Quotations remain confidential and the intellectual property of LWT Studios.

Where a quotation includes a breakdown of the agreed works, vehicle panels, windows or areas to be treated, these form part of the agreed scope of works.

Customers are encouraged to review their quotation carefully before acceptance to ensure all requested areas have been included.

Should additional work be requested after acceptance, or once installation has commenced, it may be treated as a variation to the original agreement and may require additional time, materials and cost.

4. Vehicle Assessment

Before work begins, every vehicle undergoes a visual condition assessment.

This allows us to better understand the condition of the vehicle and identify any visible characteristics that may affect the installation or final appearance.

Our assessment may include observations relating to:

  • Existing scratches.

  • Stone chips.

  • Paint defects.

  • Previous paint repairs.

  • Existing window tint.

  • Existing wraps or PPF.

  • Glass damage.

  • Trim condition.

  • Existing contamination.

  • General cleanliness.

Where significant observations are identified before installation, we will discuss them with the customer wherever reasonably possible.

This assessment is intended to identify visible conditions only and should not be regarded as a mechanical inspection, structural assessment or vehicle health check.

5. Orders & Acceptance

Once you decide to proceed, we will confirm your booking together with any agreed quotation, payment schedule and proposed installation details.

An order shall be considered accepted once one or more of the following has occurred:

  • Written acceptance of the quotation.

  • Payment of any required deposit.

  • Written instruction to proceed.

  • Confirmation by email.

  • Confirmation via WhatsApp.

  • Acceptance through our online quotation system.

Following acceptance, specialist materials may be ordered specifically for your vehicle.

As many automotive films are cut, reserved or ordered specifically for individual projects, changes requested after acceptance may affect pricing, lead times or material availability.

Where significant amendments are requested after acceptance, these will always be discussed before further work proceeds.

6. Scope of Works

Every quotation prepared by LWT Studios is based upon a clearly defined scope of works.

Where applicable, quotations and invoices will identify the specific services, windows, body panels or vehicle areas included within the agreed works.

Depending on the service being carried out, this may include:

  • Individual vehicle windows.

  • Windscreens (where applicable and legal).

  • Quarter glass.

  • Rear screens.

  • Bonnet.

  • Front bumper.

  • Wings.

  • Mirrors.

  • Roof.

  • Doors.

  • Sills.

  • Tailgate.

  • Interior trim.

  • Other agreed components.

These details form part of the agreement between both parties and help ensure there is a clear understanding of exactly what work will be undertaken.

Customers are encouraged to carefully review their quotation before acceptance to ensure all requested areas have been included.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, LWT Studios will only complete the services specifically detailed within the accepted quotation.

Where additional work is requested after acceptance, it may require:

  • A revised quotation.

  • Additional labour.

  • Additional materials.

  • Additional installation time.

  • Revised completion dates.

7. Securing Your Booking

To reserve workshop time and order specialist automotive materials, a deposit may be required.

The required deposit, where applicable, will always be clearly shown on your quotation or invoice.

Deposits allow us to:

  • Reserve dedicated workshop time.

  • Order products specifically for your vehicle.

  • Allocate technicians.

  • Prepare your project before arrival.

Workshop bookings are only confirmed once any required deposit has been received.

Where specialist products have already been ordered specifically for your vehicle, deposits may become non-refundable where cancellation results in costs that cannot reasonably be recovered.

Should LWT Studios be unable to proceed with the agreed works for reasons solely within our control, your deposit will either be refunded in full or transferred to a mutually agreed future booking.

8. Payments

Payment terms applicable to your project will be clearly detailed within your quotation or invoice.

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Deposits are payable before materials are ordered or workshop time is reserved.

  • Remaining balances become due upon completion of the agreed works.

  • Payments may be made using the methods detailed on your invoice.

Failure to make payment when due may result in:

  • Suspension of future bookings.

  • Warranty documentation being withheld until payment has been received.

  • Recovery of outstanding balances through appropriate legal channels.

  • Interest being charged where permitted by law.

Ownership of supplied products remains with London Window Tints Ltd until payment has been received in full.

9. Preparing Your Vehicle

To help us deliver the highest possible standard of workmanship, customers are asked to prepare their vehicle before arrival wherever reasonably practical.

We kindly ask that:

  • Personal belongings are removed from the vehicle.

  • Child seats are removed where they restrict access.

  • Valuable items are not left inside the vehicle.

  • Dash-mounted accessories are removed where required.

  • The vehicle arrives in a reasonably clean condition.

A clean vehicle allows us to properly assess the condition of the paintwork, glazing and trim before work begins.

Where excessive contamination prevents work from being completed to our normal standard, additional preparation may be required. Any additional costs will always be discussed before work proceeds.

10. Respecting Your Vehicle

Your vehicle is important to you, and we understand the trust you place in us when handing over your keys.

Whilst your vehicle is in our care, we will take reasonable steps to protect it throughout the installation process.

This includes, where appropriate:

  • Using clean working practices.

  • Protecting surrounding trim and interior surfaces.

  • Using suitable installation equipment.

  • Minimising unnecessary vehicle movement.

  • Carrying out installations in a professional workshop environment wherever possible.

Where vehicles need to be repositioned within our premises, they will only be moved by authorised members of our team.

Every reasonable effort will be made to return your vehicle in the same condition in which it was received, subject to the agreed works and any pre-existing conditions identified during our inspection.

11. Vehicle Condition Assessment

Before installation begins, every vehicle is visually inspected.

The purpose of this inspection is to identify any visible conditions that may affect the installation or final appearance.

Examples include:

  • Stone chips.

  • Existing scratches.

  • Swirl marks.

  • Previous paint repairs.

  • Existing tint.

  • Existing PPF.

  • Existing vinyl wraps.

  • Paint defects.

  • Glass chips.

  • Damaged trim.

  • Loose seals.

  • Existing adhesive residue.

  • Water ingress.

Where reasonably possible, any significant observations will be discussed with the customer before work begins.

This inspection is intended only to identify visible conditions and should not be interpreted as a mechanical inspection or assessment of the overall condition of the vehicle.

12. Understanding Your Vehicle

Modern vehicles vary significantly in their construction, materials and factory specifications.

Before recommending products or carrying out work, LWT Studios may consider factors including:

  • Factory privacy glass.

  • Heated glass.

  • Laminated glazing.

  • Antenna systems.

  • Rain sensors.

  • ADAS equipment.

  • Paint type.

  • Previous repairs.

  • Existing modifications.

Recommendations are based upon the information available at the time together with our professional experience.

Where we believe a requested installation may not be suitable for your vehicle, we reserve the right to recommend an alternative solution or decline the work.

13. Vehicle Window Tinting

Window tinting is carried out using premium automotive window films designed to improve comfort, reduce glare, reject ultraviolet radiation and enhance the appearance of your vehicle.

Customers acknowledge that:

  • Factory glass may vary between manufacturers.

  • Existing privacy glass will influence the final appearance.

  • Slight differences in shade may occur depending upon the glass specification.

  • Tint appearance may vary under different lighting conditions.

Where customers request a film that may not comply with applicable road traffic legislation, LWT Studios reserves the right to refuse the installation or recommend a compliant alternative.

It remains the responsibility of the registered keeper to ensure that the vehicle complies with all applicable laws relating to vehicle glazing in the country where the vehicle is used.

14. Workshop Standards

Every vehicle entering our studio deserves the same level of care and attention, regardless of its age, value or the size of the project.

Our workshop standards include:

  • Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.

  • Using professional installation techniques.

  • Using products supplied by trusted manufacturers.

  • Taking reasonable care to protect the vehicle during installation.

  • Inspecting completed work before handover.

Our goal is not simply to install premium products.

Our goal is to return every vehicle to its owner with workmanship we are proud to stand behind.

15. Paint Protection Film (PPF)

Paint Protection Film (PPF) is designed to help protect painted surfaces from everyday wear, including stone chips, road debris and minor surface abrasions.

Whilst PPF provides an additional layer of protection, it should not be considered indestructible or capable of preventing all forms of damage.

The long-term performance of PPF may vary depending upon factors including:

  • Driving conditions.

  • Vehicle usage.

  • Environmental exposure.

  • Cleaning methods.

  • Maintenance.

  • Storage conditions.

Where self-healing films are installed, customers acknowledge that self-healing characteristics perform within the manufacturer's intended operating conditions and should not be interpreted as protection against all scratches or impacts.

16. Vehicle Wrapping

Vehicle wraps are installed using premium wrapping films designed to transform the appearance of a vehicle whilst protecting the original paintwork beneath.

Customers acknowledge that:

  • Wrap films may highlight existing paint imperfections.

  • Poor previous paint repairs may become more noticeable.

  • Non-original paintwork may behave differently during installation or future removal.

  • Colour perception varies depending upon lighting conditions.

  • Digital images and samples should be regarded as visual guides only.

Where a wrap is removed in the future, LWT Studios cannot guarantee the condition of non-original paint, previous repairs or existing lacquer beneath the film.

17. Respecting the Craft

Exceptional results don't happen by chance.

Every installation carried out by LWT Studios reflects the time, preparation and attention to detail invested by our technicians.

Some procedures may take longer than customers expect, not because they are difficult, but because they are carried out properly.

Our process may include:

  • Thorough preparation.

  • Careful cleaning.

  • Controlled installation techniques.

  • Precision trimming.

  • Multiple quality inspections.

  • Final finishing before handover.

We believe quality should never be rushed.

Where additional time is required to achieve the standard we expect, we reserve the right to take that time.

Our reputation is built on the quality of our workmanship rather than the speed of completion.

18. Our Installation Process

Every installation follows a structured process designed to deliver consistent results.

Depending upon the agreed service, this may include:

  • Vehicle inspection.

  • Surface preparation.

  • Product templating or precision hand cutting.

  • Controlled installation.

  • Quality inspection.

  • Final cleaning.

  • Customer handover.

Throughout this process, every reasonable effort is made to protect surrounding vehicle components and maintain a clean working environment.

19. Film Curing & Adhesive Bonding

Many automotive films continue to cure after installation.

During this period it is normal to observe temporary characteristics including:

  • Moisture.

  • Slight haze.

  • Minor optical distortion.

  • Small drying marks.

  • Adhesive curing.

These characteristics normally reduce as the film fully cures.

Customers should avoid disturbing the installation during this period and should follow the guidance contained within the LWT Studios Aftercare Guide.

20. Appearance & Finishing Characteristics

Every installation is completed by skilled technicians using premium materials.

As with any hand-finished product, minor characteristics may be present and should not automatically be regarded as defects.

Examples include:

  • Minor edge clearances.

  • Small dust particles.

  • Slight optical variation.

  • Manufacturer tolerances.

  • Minor texture differences.

  • Natural material characteristics.

Finished installations should be assessed under normal viewing conditions and from a reasonable distance.

Extremely close inspection, magnification or specialist lighting should not form the basis for determining installation quality.

21. Product Consistency

Automotive films are manufactured in production batches.

Whilst manufacturers maintain exceptionally high quality standards, slight differences in colour, gloss level, texture or finish may occur between production runs.

Where additional work is requested after the original installation has been completed, LWT Studios cannot guarantee an exact visual match with previously installed materials.

Wherever reasonably possible, we will recommend the closest available product and explain any expected variation before work proceeds.

22. Previous Repairs & Existing Modifications

Vehicles often arrive having undergone previous repairs, repainting or aftermarket modifications.

Whilst every reasonable effort is made to identify visible conditions before installation, LWT Studios cannot accept responsibility for issues arising from:

  • Previous accident repairs.

  • Non-original paint.

  • Poor paint adhesion.

  • Existing corrosion.

  • Existing lacquer failure.

  • Previous tint installations.

  • Existing wraps or PPF.

  • Aftermarket accessories.

  • Existing adhesive contamination.

These conditions may become more apparent during preparation, installation or future removal of automotive films.

Where concerns are identified before work begins, they will be discussed with the customer wherever reasonably possible.

23. Variations to the Agreed Works

Occasionally, additional work may become necessary after a vehicle has been inspected.

Examples include:

  • Additional preparation.

  • Adhesive removal.

  • Existing tint removal.

  • Paint correction requirements.

  • Additional protection requested by the customer.

  • Previously undisclosed vehicle modifications.

No additional chargeable work will be undertaken without first discussing the variation with the customer and obtaining their agreement.

Where additional work is declined, LWT Studios reserves the right to complete only the originally agreed scope of works.

24. Every Vehicle Matters

Whether we're working on a cherished classic, a family SUV, a company van or a performance vehicle, our approach never changes.

Every customer deserves the same attention.

Every installation deserves the same care.

Every vehicle deserves the same respect.

Our goal is not to become the busiest automotive studio.

Our goal is to become one of the most trusted.

That's why every project, regardless of size, is completed to the same uncompromising standard.

25. Standing Behind Our Work

At LWT Studios, we take pride in the quality of every installation we complete.

Where applicable, your installation may benefit from:

  • Manufacturer product warranties.

  • LWT Studios workmanship warranty.

  • Additional warranty documentation specific to your chosen service.

The warranty applicable to your installation will be confirmed within your quotation, invoice or warranty certificate.

Manufacturer warranties apply in accordance with the manufacturer's published warranty terms and conditions.

Our workmanship warranty applies specifically to the quality of the installation carried out by LWT Studios.

Warranty cover may not apply where:

  • The installation has been damaged after collection.

  • Incorrect cleaning or maintenance methods have been used.

  • The product has been altered, removed or repaired by another installer.

  • Damage has resulted from accidental impact, misuse or neglect.

  • The LWT Studios Aftercare Guide has not been reasonably followed.

Nothing within this section affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer legislation.

26. Looking After Your Finish

The long-term appearance and performance of automotive films depends upon correct care after installation.

Customers are encouraged to follow the recommendations contained within the LWT Studios Aftercare Guide.

Unless otherwise advised:

  • Do not wash the vehicle during the recommended curing period.

  • Avoid pressure washing directly onto film edges.

  • Do not use abrasive cleaning products.

  • Avoid sharp tools around wrapped or protected areas.

  • Remove contaminants promptly using suitable cleaning methods.

Failure to follow reasonable aftercare guidance may affect both the appearance and longevity of the installed products.

27. Vehicle Collection & Acceptance

Upon completion, customers will be invited to inspect the agreed works before leaving the studio wherever reasonably practicable.

If any concerns are identified at the time of collection, we encourage customers to discuss them with us immediately so they can be reviewed together.

Should further inspection be required, LWT Studios will arrange an appropriate course of action within a reasonable timeframe.

Acceptance of the completed works does not affect the customer's statutory rights or prevent genuine warranty claims arising after collection.

28. Opportunity to Put Things Right

If you believe any aspect of our workmanship does not meet the agreed standard, we kindly ask that you contact us before arranging repairs or alterations by another business.

This gives LWT Studios the opportunity to inspect the vehicle and, where appropriate, rectify any genuine workmanship issues ourselves.

Where third-party work has been carried out without first allowing LWT Studios to inspect the vehicle, we may be unable to accept responsibility for any associated costs unless previously agreed in writing.

29. Third-Party Work & Future Modifications

Once work has been completed, LWT Studios cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by subsequent work carried out by third parties.

Examples include:

  • Vehicle detailing.

  • Paint correction.

  • Body repairs.

  • Windscreen replacement.

  • Accident repairs.

  • Mechanical work requiring trim removal.

  • Additional aftermarket modifications.

Customers should advise future contractors where automotive films have been installed to help minimise the risk of accidental damage.

30. Photography & Marketing

We're proud of the craftsmanship delivered by our team and may photograph completed vehicles for quality assurance, training and marketing purposes.

Images may be used across:

  • The LWT Studios website.

  • Social media.

  • Printed marketing material.

  • Portfolio content.

  • Promotional campaigns.

Where a vehicle contains identifiable personal information, registration details or the owner is clearly identifiable, reasonable steps will be taken to obtain consent or anonymise the images before publication.

Customers who would prefer their vehicle not to appear in marketing material should let us know before or during their appointment.

31. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change.

If you need to cancel or rearrange your booking, we kindly ask that as much notice as reasonably possible is provided.

Where specialist materials have already been ordered specifically for your vehicle or workshop time has been allocated, cancellation charges may apply to recover reasonable costs already incurred.

Should a booking be postponed for an extended period, LWT Studios reserves the right to review pricing where supplier costs or project requirements have changed.

32. If Something Isn't Quite Right

We're committed to delivering workmanship we're proud to stand behind.

If something doesn't meet your expectations, please tell us.

Our commitment is always to:

  • Listen carefully.

  • Investigate fairly.

  • Communicate honestly.

  • Resolve genuine concerns professionally.

We believe that open communication is the best way to resolve almost every issue and will always aim to reach a fair outcome wherever reasonably possible.

33. Our Responsibility

Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such liability cannot legally be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.

Subject to this, LWT Studios shall not be responsible for losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Pre-existing paint defects.

  • Existing vehicle damage.

  • Previous repairs.

  • Manufacturer defects.

  • Hidden corrosion.

  • Previous installations.

  • Incorrect information supplied by third parties.

  • Delays caused by suppliers.

  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Our liability in relation to any proven claim arising directly from our services shall, to the fullest extent permitted by law, be limited to the value of the products and services supplied under the relevant quotation.

34. Events Beyond Our Control

Occasionally, circumstances arise that are outside the reasonable control of both LWT Studios and our customers.

These may include:

  • Severe weather.

  • Supply chain disruption.

  • Equipment failure.

  • Utility interruptions.

  • Illness.

  • Government restrictions.

  • Road closures.

  • Other unforeseen events.

Where such circumstances occur, we will communicate openly and work together to arrange a suitable alternative wherever reasonably possible.

35. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales unless otherwise required by applicable law.

36. Contact Information
