1. Before You Drive Away

Before handing your vehicle back, we've carefully inspected every part of your installation.

As some products continue curing after installation, it's normal for certain temporary characteristics to remain for a short period.

2. The First Few Days

We recommend:

  • Avoid washing the vehicle.

  • Avoid unnecessary handling.

  • Allow products to cure naturally.

  • Avoid excessive moisture where possible.

Specific curing times may vary depending upon the products installed.

3. Caring For Window Tint

Please remember:

  • Don't lower windows for approximately 48 hours.

  • Avoid cleaning until fully cured.

  • Use soft microfibre cloths.

  • Avoid ammonia-based cleaners unless approved by the film manufacturer.

4. Caring For Paint Protection Film

PPF performs best when:

  • Washed regularly.

  • Bird droppings removed quickly.

  • Tree sap removed promptly.

  • Suitable detailing products are used.

  • Film edges are treated carefully during washing.

5. Caring For Vehicle Wrap

Vehicle wraps should be:

  • Hand washed where possible.

  • Dried using soft towels.

  • Kept free from contaminants.

  • Protected from prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals.

Avoid automatic car washes where practical.

6. Washing Your Vehicle

For the best long-term results:

✔ pH-neutral shampoo

✔ Soft wash mitt

✔ Clean microfibre drying towel

✔ Gentle washing techniques

Avoid aggressive pressure washing directly onto film edges.

7. Things To Avoid

Please avoid:

  • Abrasive compounds.

  • Harsh chemicals.

  • Razor blades.

  • Picking film edges.

  • High-pressure washing directly against edges.

  • Open flames or excessive heat.

8. What's Normal?

Depending upon the product installed, it is normal to observe:

  • Minor haze.

  • Moisture beneath tint.

  • Adhesive curing.

  • Small drying marks.

  • Temporary optical variation.

These characteristics normally disappear naturally.

9. When Should I Contact Us?

Please contact us if:

  • You notice lifting edges.

  • Bubbles remain after the expected curing period.

  • Damage appears unexpectedly.

  • You're unsure whether something is normal.

We're always happy to inspect our work and provide advice.
